With over 30-years of being the behind-the-scenes backbone, support and trusted advisor to executive leadership – ever keeping things moving forward – I have seen the sheer frustration and burn-out that leaders experience.

From mis-alignment with colleagues and teams – to not having the time, energy or mind-space to be able to operate effectively in their leadership capacities, because they didn’t have the foundations in place to help them stay in their lane, I saw the toll it took and I knew I had to impact that.

Then, when I became a business owner I’ve also been gifted to be able to see life from inside the leader’s point of view, first hand. Even though we know we need to delegate – the reality is that when push comes to shove – if things aren’t working well we’re the ones who have to put back on the hats we’re not meant to wear.

Experiencing all of this has pushed me to design a proprietary framework that allow us leaders to move forward, easier. And with AI reshaping how businesses operate, I’ve added another layer to help you figure out where it fits and make sure it actually works for your needs.

FUN FACTS

Something Unusual. I was an amateur trick rider as a kid. (Very amateur :-)) Hanging from a saddle, upside down with your head inches from the ground, gives you a whole new perspective.

Favorite Music Genre. I love music from a variety of genres. It’s just that the songs have to be different somehow than all the others, where they show some serious talent, not just mimicking someone else.

Favorite Past-time. I love training my dog, Cairo.

Favorite Guilty Pleasure. Rocky movies. (Ha! don’t ask me why!)

Motto. I have a few, but one is that I don’t believe in taking ourselves too seriously. There are things we have to be serious about, like our responsibilities to God, community, and family – but we need to carry it all light and have fun along the way.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Roles Held. Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Sr. Executive Assistant, Project Manager, Special Events Manager and Administrative Supervisor.

A Few Accomplishments. Streamlined recruiting processes for a Fortune 500 company; Chaired an annual charity event in which over a 2 year period proceeds increased by 225%; Saved one company $400K in additional licensing fees, another client $5K in chargebacks, another client $1K in security charges, and another $20K in fines due to an HR violation – through effective problem resolution.

Education. Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems. Professional Certifications Include: AI Integrator, Director of Operations, Online Business Manager & Product Launch Specialist.

LIFE COMPASS BELIEFS

Faith. First and foremost God and Jesus are at the helm of all I do. I don’t always get it right, and I’m no where near perfect, but they are truly my ultimate compass.

Have Integrity. Yes – everyone always lists this, but I absolutely believe that it is my responsibility to do what I said I would do, own up when I screw up, and always make things right – to the best of my ability. I know who I ultimately answer to.

Give. Give more than I take, and be ever on the lookout for ways to do so.

Keep Learning. There is always more to learn! More to explore and I thrive on doing so.

My Story

I’m a 3rd generation Coloradan and, except for a brief 6-year stint away, I have lived here my entire life. I thrive on having roots, structure, and a reasonable amount of predictability in my life – which shows up in my career and business life as well!

So it’s no surprise that I have dedicated my business life to creating strong foundations, structure and dependable operations for my clients.

My career began in the field of technology – where I developed solid analytical and critical thinking skills. But then life’s circumstances nudged me into the field of administration. It was the best kind of ‘being nudged’ that could’ve happened, as I discovered that was my life’s path!

I spent the 2 decades, from 1988 – 2009, refining my expertise, and ultimately held roles such as Office Manager, Executive Assistant to the C-Suite and Chief of Staff.

Eventually, I found that while I could have a significant impact within a corporate structure, I could offer even more by stepping out on my own.

So, in 2009 I ventured into the online world where I’ve had the honor and privilege of helping small business leaders in the areas of administration, project management, online business management – and now AI integration, operations consulting and fractional operations management.
